MCConaughey Allegedly Encourages Extras to Join Him Topless in Pool

Last summer Matthew McConaughey had himself cruising as a method actor in the role of former Marshall University football coach Jack Lengyel. Filming had shirted to Hot-lanta, and, the boys in their pads on the field as well as the filmmakers endured sweltering heat.
 
Less than a year later, the former People Magazine sexiest man alive has been bopping around California beaches without his shirt. Now, during the filming of “Surfer Dude,” in Australia, he apparently invited female extras to join him in the nearby pool without their tops!
 
Apparently, the ‘rumor’ has not been well taken by McConaughey’s official spokesperson. According to TMZ.com (the web site that reliably provides all the ‘inside’ info on Paris Hilton), the actor/producer’s representatives have denied that he told the ‘extras’ they would get more bucks if they frolicked in the pool sans tops.
 
Interestingly, the 37-year-old bachelor told “Surfer Dude” producers to buy 50 bottles of HIC 2X sunblock. It’s not exactly clear from the posting whether the lotion was all intended for his own shirt-deprived body or whether he had concern for his fellow filmmakers.
 
The flick, which is shooting in Australia for a 2008 release, also stars Sarah (“7th Heaven”) Mason, K. D. (“Soul Plane”) Aubert, Stacy (“Entourage”) Stas, Courtney (“Greek”) Fleming and Willie Nelson.
