Downtown Streetscape: Finally, it is Finished

Bluefield, WV (BNN) -- What was originally announced to be a six-month project, Bluefield's Downtown Streetscape is finally complete. The 25-month-long facelift included new sidewalks, turn-of-the-century street lamps, undergound conduit for the high speed fiber internet cable, renovation of the beloved Chickory Square, and the repaving of the historic district.
State Highway crews added the final touches Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, striping the freshly paved Federal Street.
