Archer and Miller Highlight Concert in the Square

Bluefield, WV (BNN) -- For eighteen of the last nineteen years Bill Archer (left) and Carl Miller (right) have performed at the "Concert in the Square" series in downtown Bluefield's Chickory Square. Friday's show (June 8, 2007) drew about a hundred downtown workers and residents. The only year the duo missed was when they were asked to perform at the dedication of the C. Jefferson Stafford Highway, way back in 1990.
Archer (author, historian, and veteran reporter of the Bluefield Daily Telegraph) and the talented keyboardists Miller have entertained the folks from the two Virginias for three decades.
They compose their own music -- with my favorite being "Two Parties in a One Party State."
