Russ on the Bus

Bluefield, WV (BNN) -- With the use of a cell phone, Russ Hatfield, co-host of Radio Active, participated on the morning talk show from the buses of the Bluefield Area Transit Tuesday April 29, 2008.
Hatfield boarded a bus at the radio station on Bluefield Avenue and traveled through the city's west end, Bluefield, Virginia, south Bluefield, midtown, downtown, and back to the radio station all in less than an hour.
During his tour, Russ interviewed passengers and drivers while on the bus and as he transfered at each location. Recently, Bluefield Area Transit was recognized as the best transit system in the state.
