BREAKING NEWS: Ruth Bell Graham Dies at Age 87

Ruth Bell Graham (1920-2007) the wife of renowned evangelist, Billy Graham, went home to Heaven shortly after five o'clock on Thursday, June 14, 2007.

Billy Graham said in a short statement, "I'm so grateful to the Lord that he gave me Ruth." Mrs. Graham had given up dreams of missionary work in Tibet to marry Graham, who became famous for evangelic crusades in which thousands turned to Jesus Christ in professions of faith.

Mrs. Graham died at the age of 87. She had been treated recently for pneumonia, but she and her family requested that she not receive nutrients through feeding tubes.
