Huntington, WV (HNN) – The narrow margin between the two democratic Presidential candidates --- Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama--- has made West Virginia’s May 13 primary one that will glitter in the national spotlight, following the May 6 primaries in North Carolina and Indiana.
Supporters of Hillary or President will be holding get-out-to-vote training across the state between Monday, May 5 and Thursday, May 8, to help train volunteers about getting Hillary’s message across to Mountain State voters.
Training for Huntington volunteers will be Wednesday, May 7 from 6-8 p.m. at the Barnett Building , 1201 7th Avenue. For questions call 304-346-1913 or email Huntington@hillaryclinton.com.

Although party leaders have been pressuring Mrs. Clinton to drop out of the race, Obama has in the last month failed to clinch the deal due to several missteps.
Eleven West Virginia legislators have endorsed Clinton. The State Senators and Delegates represent a diverse districts from around the state. (Despite these endorsement, Sen. Jay Rockefeller, Rep. Nick Rahall, and former Congressman Ken Heckler have thrown their support to Obama.)
One of Obama’s statements regarded voters in rural states. To perhaps capitalize on Hillary’s own attitudes, New York farmers will travel around West Virginia next week to speak about Clinton’s record on rural community development and agriculture issues. The former governor of Rhode Island, Bruce Sundlum, will be in W.Va. to campaign.
Clinton has also spoken in favor of a gasoline tax holiday to ease some of the pressure on Americans from the record high prices at the pump.
On Thursday, May 1, former President Bill Clinton campaigned in Morgantown and Clarksburg.
