JUNIOR GOLF: Four Players Advance to Semi-Finals at Glade Springs

Daniels, WV (HNN) -- After the first day of the matches for the West Virginia Junior Match Play Championship at Glade Springs Resort on Saturday, June 9, 2007, four players advance to the semi-finals for Sunday, June 10, 2007.
 
The WV Junior Match Play is the first of the 3 major junior golf Championships for the State. Later in the summer is the Junior Amateur at Pipestem State Park and the High School State’s at Oglebay.
 
The Semi-finals are made up of:
 
Jay Woodward of Bridgeport (#1 ranked junior in WV and 2006 Junior Am Champ)

Ben Palmer of Parkersburg (State High School champion, individual and team)
 
Aaron “Boonie” Barna of Hurricane
