GASOLINE SURVEY: Prices Decline Slightly in Most Parts of WV

Hinton, WV (HNN) – Gasoline prices in Hinton dropped to $3.04 from last week's $3.19 a gallon on June 7, 2007, at Chevron Foodmart in Avis, Jarrell's Exxon, Cargo and Pit Row on the Bypass, and Go Mart on Stokes Drive.
Statewide, the lowest observed price on June 7, 2007 was $2.96 a gallon at Sam's Club in Clarksburg, down from last week's $3.05 at Sheetz in Martinsburg, according to http://www.westvirginiagasprices.com.
On June 7, 2007 gasoline was $2.96 a gallon at KO and Go Mart in Green Valley, between Bluefield and Princeton; $2.96 at Blueflash on Hy. 20 in Princeton; $2.99 at Exxon in Princeton; $2.99 at Sheetz and Go Mart in Weston; $3.06 at Rich Oil in Huntington; $3.09 at Chevron, BP, Speedway, Go Mart and Marathon in Huntington; $3.04 at Sunoco on Stanaford Rd. in Beckley; $3.19 at Exxon in Morgantown, and $3.25 at Marathon in Spencer.
In the Charleston area, on June 7, 2007, gasoline was $3.04 at Go Mart in Elkview; $3.05 at Speedway in Cross Lanes, according tohttp://www.charlestongasprices.com. Other June 7 capital area prices: $3.17 at Exxon in Charleston; $3.13 at Chevron in South Charleston; and $3.12 at many Chevron, BP, Go Mart and other stations in Charleston.
All prices are for the lowest -- generally 87 octane -- grade of regular unleaded gasoline, with the .9 omitted.
